How to use ShowTaxi, step by step: Issuing passes
Occassionally, you'll want to give someone a free pass to your subscription, over an above any free trial you might have built in to your offer. The Passes tab lets you do just that. When you create a pass, your end product is a special URL that expires after a while, or automatically renews (your choice) the subscription. Here's what you'll need to specify to create such a URL.

Channel
Select which channel they'll be receiving - and if you have a family of podcasts each with a different channel, you can specify All Channels if you want the recipient to have total access to all that you do.
Subscriber email
This is the pass recipient's email address, plain and simple. It's subscriber ID for when you want to send them their personalized URL.
Period
You can give a pass to someone across a range of time periods, anywhere from 7 days to a full year - you choose.

Access to feed, Access to enclosures, IP Address change
You have the same control over how your passes are used as you do over how your subscriptions are used. Choose whatever works for you here.
Renew automatically
Here, you specify whether or not the subscription will automatically renew once it reaches the end of the period you chose for the lenght of the pass. Here's a hint: if it's your mom, enable her pass to automatically renew. If it's some journalist who has wheedled a free subscription out of you, disable this feature.
Once you've sent everything you want up for this pass, choose Submit. You'll be presented with a screen that shows you the pass recipient's information, including their personalized URL - which you can then send to them as their pass.
Reports
There are two reports that you can generate in addition to the lists of feeds, channels, offers and passes.
Subscribers
This is a list of all subscribers to all of your podcasts - you can sort them any way you want.
PayPal transactions
This is a list of all of your PayPal transactions, in case a subscriber need support and you need to look up their transaction.
